ABOUT

Jackie Hajdenberg is a writer and reporter based in New York City but originally from Central Florida. She is an alumna of Barnard College (B.A. Political Science) and Columbia Journalism School (M.S. Journalism). At Columbia, she gained experience in print, audio, and video reporting. Her work has appeared in JTA, The New York Jewish Week, The Jerusalem Post, The Forward, Vox Media, USA Today, The Detroit Free Press, PBS Frontline, Honeysuckle Magazine, the Columbia Daily Spectator, and the Columbia Current. Her reporting has focused on social issues, the environment, housing, the Jewish community, and voter suppression. She is currently a reporter at The Jewish Telegraphic Agency (JTA) covering Jewish life and religion and her reporting is syndicated in dozens of publications across the United States and internationally.


When she's not reporting, Jackie also enjoys writing humor, opinion, and reviews.
